Ag Adventures is pleased to provide its members with numerous benefits including:

    • Our website is highly search engine optimized and consistently page ranks #1.
    • Our website has exciting features including a dynamic web interface allowing our members to modify and maintain their own photos and pages.
    • Special Events and Announcement web pages to promote our members activities.
    • Nearly 100,00 copies of our Ag Adventures map distributed since March 2005.
    • We are working towards publishing a new map to be released late spring 2008 (early bird map panel advertising will be made available to members).
    • Ag Adventures co-sponsored the Ag Expo in collaboration with Paso Robles Main Street which resulted in good exposure for our association as well as our individual members.
    • Ag Adventures has been networking with local chambers, visitor's bureaus and local governmental agencies to promote our map and website.
    • Ag Adventures continues to be highlighted on Huell Howser's highly rated Road-Trip television show, resulting in more than 4000 map requests to date .
    • On-going referrals through phone and web requests.
    • CCAC board members are participating in the SLO County Agritourism Working Group, and have a voice in the rewrite of the Ag Use Element part of the General Plan as it relates to farm direct marketing and Agritourism.

We will continue to work hard for you, and to achieve our mission: to increase the profitability and sustainability of local farms and ranches by promoting agricultural-related tourism, marketing & education.

Membership fees are $200 per year and include your own page on our website which can be used to promote your farm, ranch, business or service.  You will be assigned an access password, and your page can be updated as frequently as you would like to let folks know about special sales, packages, pricing or events you are offering.  You may upload up to 4 photos too!

Members also will have an early bird opportunity to purchase advertising panels when new maps are published.

A Supporting Business is any individual, business, or enterprise that supports the CCAC mission statement: to increase the profitability and sustainability of local farms and ranches by promoting agricultural-related tourism, marketing, and education.  To join as a Supporting Business click here.

A Destination-Producer is defined asAn individual or family who grows a minimum of 51% of products (including value added) they sell on their farm or ranch.  They must have an on-site marketing point for tourists and the public to visit, such as a roadside stand or u-pick.  Destination-Producers may also be defined as an individual or family who is engaged in offering agricultural-related entertainment/recreation/education to the public in the form of regular tours or classes.  Examples would be farmstays, agricultural-oriented B&Bs, museums, vineyard- or nursery-related classes or tours, trail rides, horseback riding, nature hikes, hunting, etc. As per the terms of our grant, producer memberships are intended to support small emerging agricultural-related businesses with less than $500k a year in gross sales and less than 50 employees.  If your business exceeds these limitations please apply using a Supporting Member application.
